Josefine Carver is a mixed media Illustrator from New York, based now in Idaho. Using illustrations to show scenes of daily life, nature, and complex feelings, all based around personal experiences and appreciation. With a unique cartoon art-style, inspired by many animated TV shows from the 2010s.

Carver’s work comes from many different feelings and experiences that she’s lived through and feels. Especially growing up neurodivergent and online, and how that has shaped her and how she sees the world, with personal struggles. Giving much appreciation to nature, animals and humans interacting in a positive manner, while shedding a light to some negative aspects and feelings that can come up from these experiences. She also plays around with family unique dynamics.

Carver uses many different types of illustration media to convey different feelings, textures and effects, inviting the viewer to find some light in the dark, or see themselves in the piece. Having everyone overall feel less alone, seen and feel better about the world around them, and appreciative. Many stemming from neurodivergences, growing up with a learning disability and the problems that stem from it
